About HKN

Handels Kvinnliga Nätverk is a networking assocaition that operate as part of the student union at the University of Gothenburg.

HKN's mission is to inspire, engage and motivate female students. During the spring of 2010, HKN has the ambition to arrange several different events such as a 1-year party, networking, hosting exciting guest speakers as well as initiating a mentoring programme with Preera.

Through our activities we want to give female students inspiration, advice and tools to help them pursue higher levels of education and professional achievement.

HKN is led by a board consisting of 9 people and since its creation in December 2008, the society has attracted around 600 members, of which are both current studies and alumni. The members represent both Swedish and international students.
